Author Kelly said, “The book signing at Waterstones in Bournemouth was a great success! Thanks to all those who made it. We met several parents and children who love the story. One parent said to us since she has been reading the story to her little girl, she has made reference to the different characters when relating to healthy food. It had also helped her to get her to try new healthy foods which was great to hear. So all in all a huge success.”
A special surprise for children was the appearance of The Cuddle Pirate himself in the form of the soft, (cuddly of course), toy of the book’s main character. We hope to see the toy, and others, in production very soon for Cuddle Pirate fans to own for themselves.

Dear Kelly and Becky, this is an amazing creation! Amazing book, both of my little ones love it! It has never been so easy to explain to a child why sugar is bad and why eating healthily is very important. Thank you for creating these lovely characters to help 🙂
